'Ivy gourd (Kovakka) recipe:  Ingredients:-  1. Ivy gourd (Kovakka) 2. Onion - 3 (medium size) 3. Ginger 4. Garlic 5. Red chillies - 6 nos 6. Curry leaves 7. Fish tamarind 8. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp 9. Coriander powder - 2 tsp 10. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp 11. Coconut oil / Sunflower oil 12. Salt & Water as required.  Preparation:-  1. Heat a pan and add coconut oil / sunflower oil. 2. Saute the chopped onions & red chillies adding salt to it 3. Grind it in a mixie jar. 4. Heat a mud kadayi and add coconut oil / sunflower oil. 5. Saute ginger, garlic and curry leaves. 6. Add grinded masala and saute well. 7. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder and pepper powder and saute well. 8. Add little water and let it boil. 9. Add fish tamarind along with water and let it boil. 10. Add sufficient water and when it boils add Ivy gourd, sufficient salt and cook well. 11. After it gets cooked add some curry leaves and switch off the flame.  Our tasty Ivy gourd curry is ready .....as tasty as a fish curry... Pls try it. Like& Share our videos.
